In 1981, Jim Jackson established J-Deck, Inc. Jackson was an industry pioneer who had been working with structurally insulated panels since 1959.
With his innovations, Jackson propelled J-Deck to the forefront in ready-to-assemble construction materials. J-Deck is a leader in the industry for development and manufacturing of SIPs (structured insulated panels) for both commercial and residential applications.
SIPs can be used for roofs, walls and floors.
These building panels are typically made using two structural skins of oriented strand board and placing in between them expanded polystyrene foam insulation.

To meet the homebuilder’s needs, other surfaces are also available. No matter what J-Deck surfaces are chosen, our building system is energy efficient, cost effective, very strong and predictable.
Jackson passed away in 1998, but the spirit of the company has not changed. Today, owner Christopher Tefft places the same emphasis on products design, innovation, quality, and cost efficiency that has brought much success to J-Deck.
Tefft brings over 19 years experience as a General Contractor to J-Deck.
He has constructed everything from room additions, custom residences, banks, to even hotels, and with this type of real world, in the field knowledge, J-Deck is able to continue to develop its line of Structural Insulated Panels to not only benefit the end user, but also the building professional.
These qualities have brought much success to the J-Deck, Inc. and will continue to be our concern.
Our full line of SIPs products can be used in new or existing construction applications.
Our e3 technology consist of a unique process that matches fibers used in construction materials, and by doing so, ensures the highest quality of strength and compatibility for building materials.
